It's been two and a half years since I officially started my business and this is the first time I'm using my blog. I felt it was time I used it! Recently I had the privilege to attend a Bridal Shootout with one of my favorite photographers....Ace Fanning! To say I was excited is an understatement. This was an opportunity to learn and grow and try to perfect my craft. This journey in photography started when I was a child and it became a reality when my son was born. Since then I have taught myself through countless articles, books, videos, tutorials and just plain practicing. I never thought I would get this far with a hobby I had a love for and turn it into a business. Photography is a never ending course and I will jump at every opportunity to learn new tricks and technique's. I don't imagine I will ever stop being a student!
This shoot out was a busy one with over 30 other photographers. Our host Ace did a phenomenal job keeping the session fun and interesting. Our subjects Aaron and Ashley were newlyweds who were so gracious to be our models and gorgeous ones at that! I was thankful to meet a few of the ladies and Ace's fiancé who was a delight to talk to. I left this shootout grinning from ear to ear, feeling a little more confident with my abilities to take a great picture. Thank you to Ace and Katelyn for organizing and sharing your love of photography with me! Here are some of my shots of this lovely couple!
